Group Coaching Environments: If you participate in an SCC group coaching program, community forum, or live group video call, your name, likeness, and any information you voluntarily share will be visible to other participants. SCC is not responsible for how other group members use or disclose information you expose in these shared environments.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or valid legal process, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of SCC, our clients, or others.
Safety and Imminent Harm: If we have a reasonable belief that you or another person is in imminent danger of harm, we may disclose relevant information to emergency services or appropriate authorities.

Our website, coaching services, and digital workbooks are intended strictly for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. 11. Coaching Session & Community Confidentiality
Information shared during one-on-one coaching sessions is treated with strict professional discretion. We do not record video or audio sessions without your explicit prior consent. We do not share session content with third parties except as described in this policy.
Group Coaching Exception: If you participate in group coaching or public forums, you acknowledge that SCC cannot guarantee the privacy or confidentiality of information you share in front of other group participants. You agree to maintain strict confidentiality regarding other participants' identities and shared experiences.
Legal Status Reminder: Life coaches are not bound by HIPAA or the same statutory confidentiality protections as licensed mental health professionals. While we are committed to confidentiality as a professional standard, our communications are not legally privileged in the way that therapist-client communications are.
12. California Residents (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
- The right to know what personal information we collect, use, share, or sell
- The right to delete personal information we have collected from you (subject to exceptions)
- The right to opt out of the sale of your personal information — note: we do not sell personal information
- The right to non-discrimination for exercising your CCPA rights
